Repair Service for 2001-2006 Mercedes W220 S430 S500 CL Instrument Cluster.
Repair service restores the instrument cluster backlighting. Backlighting problems are common failures on the W220/W215 Mercedes models and result in total or partial loss of lighting. Failures often result in total loss of power to the instrument panel due to shorting out of the instrument cluster and blown fuse.
Repair involves complete disassembly and replacement of several components responsible for CCFL backlighting within the instrument panel.
Repair is performed with OEM components. We do not use cheap aftermarket transformers/MOSFETs.
Requires your instrument cluster to be removed from the vehicle and shipped for repair. Repair will not change or tamper with coding or current odometer reading on your instrument cluster.
Typical service turnaround: 5-7 business days.
2 year warranty.
Please note that 2000 Mercedes S430/S500 instrument cluster is not covered under this repair (mainly due unique PCB design and requiring different components for repair). We no longer stock parts for 2000 model year instrument cluster.
Repair service only applies to 2001-2006 model years S and CL models.

2000 Mercedes S430 Instrument Cluster Repair
I contacted Tom when searching to figure out why the lights on my instrument cluster began to go out and flicker. He informed me that there was a transformer going bad and could have the repair done in under 24 hours. Other places I contacted, though closer in location, required a few days or several hundreds of dollars more. Tom fixed the cluster and kept me updated every step of the way.
