Software / EEPROM Repair Service for Bosch Instrument Cluster.

Software damage commonly occurs as a result of voltage spike, voltage drop, or tampering with internal software of the instrument cluster. DEF message will also cause a "Control Module Defective" fault to be stored in the module memory. Various warning lights and/or messages/faulty may also appear (adaptive cruise control , etc).

Repair service resolves checksum issue within the EEPROM memory and restores full functionality of the instrument cluster eliminating DEF message on the trip meter, as well as resolving the "Internal Control Module Check Sum Error" DTC:

10485833 - Internal Control Module Memory Check Sum Error

B2000 49 [00001001] - Internal Electronic Failure
