Great Service

I own a 2008 Audi Q7 Sline with Adaptive Cruise and Air suspension. About a month ago I was driving and smelled a very loud burning smell in my car. It went away just as quickly as it came on. The next day when I started my vehicle, I noticed that the LCD screen in the middle of my Speedo Cluster was not coming on, totally dead. After doing some research, I thought that the screen needed repair. I found a local shop here in Atlanta that diagnosed it and said it was not repairable. I then found a shop in Tampa FL, and after 3 days and me constantly calling for updates, they claimed it was Not Repairable. Of course I considered the dealership and they mentioned that the whole cluster needed to be replaced and that it would be $1600, but they had to order the part from Germany. Feeling a bit frustrated, I continued to research and found a post on here about a guy in Illinois that had success with repairing color LCD VW and Audi screens. I called him up and within 2 mins on the phone, he literally diagnosed the problem with my cluster and was 100% sure that he could repair it. With that confidence, I packaged the cluster and shipped it to Tom at Speedosolutions.com in Illinois. Tom is not just a reputable business man, but he is dedicated to making sure that you are taken care of efficiently. Within hours of receiving my cluster, Tom responded via email stating that my cluster was repaired with OEM parts and it was ready to be shipped back. His diagnosis was the failure was caused by the backlighting transformer, related driver and transistor (that literally went up in smoke), but luckily didn't cause damage to the system board. Tom at SpeedoSolutions.com is AMAZING and he saved me hundreds and a lot of headache. If you are having any problems with your VW or Audi speedometer, you must call Tom. I have never written a review before, but I had to take the time and write this one because Excellence in Services needs to be recognized.
