Audi A8 D2 Instrument Cluster Identity Cloning Service.
Service includes cloning of secure identity block (VIN, odometer value, immobilizer data, keys, etc) from original cluster to donor cluster. Donor cluster will be returned plug and play.
Programming/Cloning Service only (does not include replacement core) - Customer is to provide a compatible (preferably matching part #) donor cluster.
Applies to instrument clusters that power up and start the vehicle, but have other problems related to indicators, displays, etc or intermittent behavior.
If the original instrument cluster is inoperable/does not power up and/or the vehicle does not start, the problem can be related to incorrect/corrupted coding. In that case, Immobilizer System Adaptation Service (Sku/Part: 1033) needs to be performed.
