Description

Identity/Immobilizer/Drive Authorization Reset Service for Mercedes ME2.8 ECU, found in early 2000 Mercedes models.

Commonly used for 2nd hand ECU installation/programming, where donor ECU needs to be used and adapted.

ECU reset (or cloning) is in most cases performed by a diagnostic session (without opening / compromising the PCB).

Service requires donor/replacement ECU to be shipped in renew. We may request other components, depending on coding additional coding/cloning options required for Plug and Play application. If original ECU is missing or severely damaged (does not power up or respond to diagnostic session), we may need the EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) and Key from the vehicle for Coding/Adaptation to Drive Authorization System.
