Repair/REMAN Service for Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Braking Guard Camera Module, commonly found in 2010 - 2018 Audi A6/A7/A8 and 2010 - 2018 VW Touareg vehicles.

Upon arrival, each module is bench tested by Live Simulation on specially designed Test Bed to confirm diagnosis.
Tier 1 Repair (applies to most modules) involves removal, re ball and reinstall procedure utilizing the original / existing Virtex FPGA BGA IC.
In some cases the module may not be reparable with Tier 1 procedure, which would indicate an actual FPGA IC failure. In those cases, the Virtex FPGA Image Processing IC will need to be replaced with a New Component.
Tier 2 Repair involves replacement of Virtex FPGA IC with a New OEM Component. There will be a $400 additional fee if FPGA IC replacement is required.
ACC Camera Module retains all coding and calibration settings. If the module is reinstalled in the original vehicle, VIN, Component Protection coding and/or calibrations are not required, as there are no changes made to coding / calibration / adaptation during the repair process.

Please contact us if there had been any previous repair attempts, as this may have resulted in Virtex FPGA IC Chip being overheated / damaged and require replacement (typically Tier 2 Level Repair). In some rare cases the module may not be repairable even with Tier 2 (FPGA IC replacement) option because other parts of the module have been compromised or overheated (camera ribbon connector melted, damaged SDRAM next to the FPGA IC, etc). A $150 "Repair Attempt" Fee will be assessed in cases where the ACC Module has been previously repaired or tampered with and successful repair can not be achieved with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Repair Options. In those cases we may also quote a Module replacement with a REMAN Donor Module and Data Transfer as another repair alternative.
